Pre-K–12 education represents the majority of ContextGlobal’s work, giving the company extensive experience in the needs, challenges, and regulations of the school setting. Since interpreters work directly with young children, they must be thoroughly vetted for security and have the appropriate linguistic and interpersonal skills.
ContextGlobal was up to the task, and now provides interpreters and translation services to DCPS in predominant five languages. Interpreters support students in the classroom, at extracurricular activities, during individualized education plan meetings, and anywhere else help is needed, including simultaneous interpretations at events so families can participate fully. To protect student safety, ContextGlobal ensures all interpreters pass DCPS background checks, and the firm works closely with the District to address feedback and help each student excel.
